Reasons Why?

1. It is because of the upward perspective, and the vertical lines are parallel making it believable in space.
2. This is because of the properties of foreshortening and it is how it looks naturally.
3. Lorraine loved Italy and the roman ruins, they were included in most of his works.

The Cave of Forgotten Dreams Film Guide
1. When and where was the cave discovered?1994, Chauvet, France
2. Why was a door installed into the opening of the cave? So they wouldn't compromise the climate inside.
3. Where were the red spots discovered and how were they made? In the Front and they were palm prints.
4. What was the first proof that the drawing were not forgeries? They had thousands years worth of growth on top.
5. Why did Scientist believe that the artist created the bison with eight legs? What other possible reason do you think that this might have been done? To indicate movement and maybe because they painted in the darkest spots of the cave.
6. What possible landmark was near the cave? An arch in the landscape.
7. Why did the filmmakers think that there might have been dancing in the cave. Bc of the shadows it could have casted on the cave through the fire light.
8. What does the presence of bones indicate? That humans didn't live inside the cave.
9. How did they know that one person created the red dots on different parts of the cave? Bc of his crooked pinky.
10. What animal is combined with a woman? Bison.
11. What was discovered in 2008? what material was it created with? The earliest Venus, made out of mammoth rusk.
12. What was most significant about this cave to you? The drawing found deep in the cave of the woman combined with the Bison, because it is fragmented but still the most exquisite of the paintings.
